GALATOIRE’S “33” BAR & STEAK TO HOST WINE DINNER FEATURING STAG’S LEAP WINE CELLARS

 

Galatoire’s “33” Bar & Steak will host a wine dinner featuring Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars on Wednesday, July 29.

 

             Founded in 1970, Stag's Leap Wine Cellars made history when its first vintage of S.L.V. Cabernet Sauvignon surpassed some of the best French wines in the world at the Judgement of Paris in 1976.  Stag's Leap Wine Cellars regional representative Jennifer Correa will share the rich history of the winery and explain the wines being served during the dinner.

 

             Guests at the wine dinner will enjoy culinary creations by Executive Chef Michael Sichel perfectly paired with Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars wine. Hors d’oeuvres will be served at 7 p.m., and dinner will begin at 7:30 p.m.

Named number five in the Thrillist list of Best Steakhouses in New Orleans, Galatoire’s “33” Bar & Steak is located at 215 Bourbon St., adjacent to the grand dame Galatoire’s restaurant. Bar “33” is open from 11 a.m. – close, Tuesday through Sunday, and 5 p.m. – close on Monday. The dining room is open Sunday – Thursday from 5 – 10 p.m., and 5 – 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
