David Gooch currently
serves as manager of Galatoire’s
New Orleans. A son of Clarisse Galatoire Gooch
and grandson of Leon Galatoire, David began his
career in the family business in 1967. He spent
four years in the kitchen before moving to the
front of the house. David is a lifelong resident
of New Orleans. He earned a Bronze Star during
a tour of duty in Vietnam where he served as a
Combat Engineer Platoon Leader. He holds degrees
from L.S.U. and Tulane University.
