2011 Best of Award of Excellence recipient from Wine Spectator Magazine. Named “Best French Quarter” and “Best New Orleans” restaurant in The Times-Picayune’s Reader’s Choice Awards. Where Y’at reader’s ranked Galatoire’s among the top three for “Best French Quarter” and “Best Upscale” restaurants in their Best of the Big Easy Awards. The Food Network filmed Galatoire’s Soufflé Potatoes to feature on an upcoming episode of “The Best Thing I Ever Ate.” Voted “Favorite Restaurant for a Power Lunch” in January issue of New Orleans Magazine. TheDailyMeal.com included Galatoire’s on its list of the 101 Best Restaurants in America.
2010 Award of Excellence recipient from Wine Spectator Magazine. Gambit Weekly named Galatoire’s the Best French Quarter Restaurant. Saveur Magazine named Friday lunch at Galatoire’s one of their “25 Greatest Meals Ever” in the October issue. Named one of Bon Appetit’s “Top Celebration Restaurants” in its November issue. Chef Brian Landry won the title of Oscar Mayer’s “Freshest Chef."
2009 Award of Excellence recipient from Wine Spectator Magazine. The National Restaurant Association honored Galatoire's with the Restaurant Neighbor Award for going above and beyond in giving back to the community.
2008 Zagat Survey renames Galatoire’s as the most popular restaurant in New Orleans. New Orleans Magazine readers rate Galatoire’s #1 in four categories: Favorite Restaurant, Favorite Restaurant for Fine Dining, Favorite Restaurant for a Power Lunch and Favorite Place for Creole Food. Wine Spectator Magazine honors Galatoire's with the Award of Excellence.
2007 Award of Excellence recipient from Wine Spectator Magazine. Zagat Survey rated Galatoire’s as the most popular restaurant in New Orleans and The TImes-Picayune food critic Brett Anderson named Galatoire's one of the Top 10 restaurant in New Orleans. New Orleans Magazine named Galatoire’s Best Restaurant, Best Restaurant for a Power Lunch and second place for Best Restaurant for Fine Dining.
2006 Named Restaurant of the Year by local food critic Tom Fitzmorris and Best New Orleans Restaurant by Gambit Weekly’s annual Best of New Orleans readers’ survey.
2005 Galatoire’s received the prestigious James Beard Award for Outstanding Restaurant. The award recognizes the U.S. restaurant that serves as the standard bearer of consistence of quality and excellence in food, atmosphere and service.
2001 Ranked in the Top 25 of the United States’ Most Outstanding Restaurants by Gourmet Magazine.
