2008 Zagat Survey renames Galatoire’s as the most popular restaurant in New Orleans. New Orleans Magazine readers rate Galatoire’s Number One in four categories: Favorite Restaurant, Favorite Restaurant for Fine Dining, Favorite Restaurant for a Power Lunch and Favorite Place for Creole Food.

2007 Award of Excellence recipient from Wine Spectator Magazine. Zagat Survey rated Galatoire’s as the most popular restaurant in New Orleans and The TImes-Picayune food critic Brett Anderson named Galatoire's one of the Top 10 restaurant in New Orleans. New Orleans Magazine named Galatoire’s Best Restaurant, Best Restaurant for a Power Lunch and second place for Best Restaurant for Fine Dining.

Named 2006 Restaurant of the Year by local food critic Tom Fitzmorris and Best New Orleans Restaurant by Gambit Weekly’s annual Best of New Orleans readers’ survey

Named Standard Bearer for 2005 On May 2, Galatoire’s received the 2005 James Beard Foundation’s San Pelligrino Outstanding Restaurant Award. The award recognizes the U.S. restaurant that serves as the standard bearer of consistence of quality and excellence in food, atmosphere and service. Upon receiving the honor, the restaurant thanked its staff for being the foundation that makes Galatoire’s the very best. A special thank you was also extended to loyal patrons—without their commitment the restaurant would not be a success.
